In this post, I am going to show you some of the architecture photography,  that I did for GTC Bulgaria and their new project in Bulgaria – Galleria Mall Stara Zagora.  It was one day shoot. The clients’s requirement was to take some photographs in day light and some at night / twilight , so we can show the great Christmas decoration.

The photographs are going to be used for advertisement.

In this post, I am going to show you some images from my last photo session for Cliche.bg (bulgarian online store for clothes ). Along with the product / catalogue photography , which we shoot regularly this time we tried to create somethink a bit more interesting . We did a fashion photo shoot in Cliche’s new showroom.

Food Photography has always been my passion. Following my passion a managed to great a food photography portfolio of a little over a thousand images and hopeful in the new year or two I will try to double that number.

I had the idea of creating my own stock site from a few months and I finally decided to give it a try. I am starting with Royalty –free images but I will expand my work with some Rights-managed images as well.

Alright , today I am going to show you my latest work in the field of product photography and specially shoes photography, that I did in my photography studio in Sofia, Bulgaria, The client is well know shoe manufacturer in Bulgarian – Indigo Shoes .

The reason for the shoot was to show the world the coming up Indigo Winter 2010 shoe collection. Our goal was to create images that are not boring as sometimes catalog photography could be , but at the same time to say in the budged and of course , shorten the turnaround time as much as possible.

After we figure out where and how to storage over 100 models of shoes , in a way that we can choose how to group them for the shoot , we had to create a plan to offer the client variety of images in terms of composition, lighting and mood. At the same time all images should look like they are part of one collection.

Another thing that we had to pay attention is the web site design , that the images were going to be shown. We had to create a mood that match the web site.

We managed to photograph all models in just about 2 days , as in the same time leave the client happy, which is the most important . As a whole the idea was to provoke the view to want to see  more of the products. That is why, we decided to leave some of the models way out of focus or hide them in the shadows.

Hi all,

today I am going to show you some of my latest work. I shot those images maily for my food photography portfolio. In that photo shoot I was the photographer and food stylist/cook . I hope you like the images.

Although I did not use professional food stylist in those photo shoots I think the images come out pretty good. Probably some of them may end up in my new print portfolio.

I did not use much Photoshop, because I was looking for more realistic/natural looking “products” (sandwiches) and not so much of commercial food photography that you may find on the product packaging and advertisements.

Well, It is certainly easier for the photographer when there is professional cook or food stylist on the set. That way the photographer could concentrate on the lighting and composition.

In my case, I had some experience with food styling but still it is at times to much work for one person. Any way I hope you enjoy the food … I mean the images .
